Hinata could not concentrate at all during her team training on Thursday, events of the other day kept coming into head, and it was obvious she was in no condition to take a serious training day. “Hinata” Shino said stopping his attack, letting her get back on her feet. “I will not continue this team training session if we as a team, are not at our best,” he said in his normal precise voice.

As Hinata woke up the next day, her eyes shot opened. ‘Today’s the day!’ she thought to herself as she looked at the clock. 10:34 A.M the clock read, Hinata gasped and sprung out of bed ‘I overslept!’ she screamed inside her head as she ran towards her bathroom and immediately started the shower. She waited impatiently for the water to heat up as her thoughts raced, ‘I must hurry, at this rate I am going to be late and Naruto may get mad.’

Sleep was the last thing on Hinata’s mind last night. Actually she didn’t even remember falling asleep. The last thing she remembered was sitting up in her bed, trembling, while having a death grip on Naruto’s hand begging him to not leave her alone. ‘I must have looked like such a child,’ the young Hyuuga thought as she remembered the painful expression on Naruto’s face while he looked at her, and his failed attempt to smile and make her feel better.

Hinata was completely lost in her thoughts about their date, she still couldn’t believe Naruto hugged her, sure some might have said he only hugged her for agreeing to help him train, but Hinata felt like there was more to it. Otherwise, the hug would have been quick and he would have gone running away, but this hug lasted to the point where she could feel the warmth coming from his body. She shivered at the thought of him being so close, but excited her at the same time.
